דבר ראשון, כדאי שנבין: מהי קריקטורה?

קריקטורה היא איור / ציור שמתאר אדם אחד, קבוצת אנשים, בעלי חיים או סיטואציה כלשהי בצורה מוגזמת ומשעשעת. בדרך כלל קריקטורה מדגישה מאפיינים בולטים (חיצוניים או פנימיים) של אדם באופן שמדגיש את השוני והנבדלות שלו.

איך מציירים קריקטורה? כפי שאמרנו, מאייר יוצר קריקטורה עלי ידי הבלטת קווי המתאר של הדמות באופן כזה שהם מייחדים אותה ומבדילים אותה מדמויות אחרות באופן מוגזם ואף משעשע.
